The Hypercodex team met Julien Boisseau from l’abricot, a graphic design and writing studio that uses risography as a printing process. We familiarized ourselves with pre-press, an essential step to properly prepare files for printing in risography. The method for separating colors varies depending on the desired color accuracy of a visual, for example in the case of a photography or a more artistic illustration. It is necessary to consider the superposition by layers of colors, similar to screen printing, with the difference where several shades of colors are present.
